This week’s featured bond comes from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which scheduled to issue $990 million in general revenue bonds, secured by full faith and credit of the state, the week of May 31, 2016. The purpose and further details on the security of the bonds will be revealed when an official statement is released. As of April 2016, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has an unemployment rate of 5.2%, 0.2% higher than the national average.
