Did you know that two of America’s founding fathers – Thomas Jefferson and John Adams – did not sign the Constitution at the Constitutional Convention in 1787?

Constitution Day is September 17, commemorating a day that changed our nation’s history forever. To honor this anniversary, the National Constitution Center, located in Philadelphia near Independence Hall, where the document was signed, hosted a variety of special events.

But if you couldn’t attend in person, be sure to visit the Constitution Center’s website, which offers a “Hall Pass” for a fascinating virtual tour of Signers’ Hall.

For those of us who may not have fully appreciated history back in junior high, or those that simply hunger for more, the tour provides an insightful look at one of the most powerful events to shape the United States.

The Constitution Center website is full of fun and informative activities – from a “Which Founder Are You?” game to facts and trivia about the signing of the U.S. Constitution.
