In early November, the Pew Internet & American Life Project released a report entitled Teen Content Creators and Consumers showing that 87% of America’s teenagers (between the ages of 12-17) use the Internet. Half of all teens in this age group are considered “content creators,” meaning they have created a blog, web page, or posted their own original artwork, stories, photos, etc. According to the study, these findings point to “a generation comfortable with content-creating technology.”
